The 1985-86 Celtics

After a loss in the '85 NBA Championship, the 1985-1986 Celtics led by Larry Bird featuring Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge, Kevin McHale, and Bill Walton had the best record in franchise history. They also defeated Houston 4-2 in the 1986 NBA Finals. They had a home win record of 40-1, which is the best home winning percentage (.976) in NBA history. They also had the fifth best winning percentage overall of all time (.817).
